“Yeah” – Gold Award!

“PromaxBDA” – Europe Awards 2017

We are proud to be one of the finalists at this year’s PromaxBDA Europe Awards and we are curious to see if we are able to beat the high-caliber competition (NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures, Viacom, Moviestar+).

“Interview” – Novum Magazine

In the current issue of the magazine Novum – World of Graphic Design my good friend Melanie Spintig and I were invited to tell a little about ourselves and the NDR project “Zeitsprung”. This is the issue 01/2017 on film.

“Award” – Deutscher Designer Club

My colleague Melanie Spintig and I received a DDC-Award (German Designer Club) in the category “Motion picture” for the On-Air-Design for “Zeitsprung”. The award ceremony took place on 25th of November at the Bockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt. Thanks again to the DDC and of course to the team of NDR.

“Press” – Page Magazine

In the current edition of the design magazine “Page” (11/2016), there is a short feature on our NDR project “Zeitsprung”. We are very pleased that the On-Air-Design has received so much recognition. Thanks!

“Am Lokdepot” – New Studio

Finally, we are moving! It was a long struggle, but we have now found our new and first own studio in Kreuzberg. We look forward to more space and the exceptional architecture of ROBERTNEUN™ architects. Now we can work much better on new projects and have plenty of space for shooting.

“Norddeutscher Rundfunk” – Zeitsprung

Currently, I am working together with my colleague Melanie Spintig on a great and exciting project for NDR and there are already first making-of photos. We are curious to see if everything will go according to plan.

“IAA Frankfurt” – BMW M

After several months of work together with the teams of Omstudios, Wolf Production and Meiré Meiré, the BMW show at the IAA in Frankfurt can be admired today. On a large LED wall (60 meters x 13 meters) you can now completely immersed in the world of BMW. I was responsible for the Design Development (analogue and digital) and the Art Direction during the production phase of the five-minute “BMW M” film. It’s great to see the pictures now on such a large LED wall.

“BMW M6″ – Shooting

For the introfilm of the new BMW M6, together with my good friend Melanie Spintig and the filmteam of Omstudios, we shot the car in the Havelstudios in Berlin Charlottenburg. We staged the car purely with analogue techniques and created an interesting interplay of light and shadow. In addition to the studio shots, we also shot outside.

Volkswagen AG – Geneva International Motor Show

After a busy time, myself and a team of seven motion designers accomplished a Design and Animation Package for the Geneva Motor Show of Volkswagen. This included the Countdown Teaser, the Welcome Loop and many more parts of the show. My role was to art direct & develop the main design. Commissioned by Omstudios and produced by United Visions.

“Ting. Teknologi. Demokrati.” – Trip to Oslo

I’ve just got back from a short trip to Oslo/Norway where I visited the exhibition “Ting. Teknologi. Demokrati” at the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology. For the interactive installation and the huge screen measuring 25m x 5m I supported the team of Tamschick Media + Space as one of 8 motion designers with a 2 minute long, full 3D-animated film. It´s huuuuuuuge!
